A Cron Service for Active Server Pages.ASPevent runs as a Windows 2000/XP/NT service that scans a MS-Access database table for events that specify a time and Active Server Page to execute via HTTP. This is a convenient way to perform unattended execution of Active Server Pages for web site maintenance, to send email reminders or to execute any ASP code on a event time driven basis. Note that ASPevent is designed to only run on Windows 2000/XP/NT, but can be used to HTTP to any website URL (address), meaning that ASPevent will work with any web server, not just IIS. | | Back |
