ComponentHelp Workshop provides an easy-to-use system for creating and managing help projects and related files. .NET developers can use it to build, update and maintain documentation for .NET components/assemblies and WinForms applications with minimal effort. To produce .NET documentation, one just needs to select the assemblies and ComponentHelp Workshop will generate complete HTML Help reference. All elements of typical help system are generated automatically without manual help file compilation, without annoying class hierarchy modeling, syntax declarations, etc.The information about .NET assemblies is collected using reflection. Also if you use C# or Delphi compiler, you can use compiler-generated XML Documentation files containing comments to provide more information for the topic. It means that you can separate the documentation team from developers to avoid unnecessary source code sharing.Customized HelpProvider component is included for integrating help system in Windows Forms applications. Design-time editor alllows you to select help topic for Windows Forms control very easy. You can generate HTML help files with different styles (say, like in MSDN or Borland docs). Also you can define your own help system styles using HTML Templates. Preview feature is available at design-time.ComponentHelp Workshop can be used as a standalone tool for producing final HTML or HTML Help documentation or, alternatively, it can be used to produce Microsoft« HTML Help Workshop projects which can be edited and integrated into other help systems developing using other help authoring tools.
