NVE ASP Chat is a database driven ASP/VBSCRIPT Chatroom application. This supports multiple chat rooms. Automatic log off if guests leave the room or close their browser window without clicking the Exit button. Clicking the Exit button removes the user from the list and closes the chat window. Provides Administrative Control Panerl to manage chatrooms and even removing active users etc. Provides Administrative Application Configuration file which allows to configure / Language filter,What room categories to apply the language filter to ,words or phrases to filter out, set default email address for technical support, database connection path for all application pages, Logo image path, Chat room Page Background Color, Header-Footer Color, Header-Footer Font Color, Set User List page Background Color, Font Face, Page Font Color, Links Colors, Show or Hide entry date at the end of the chat text entries, Set alternating text colors, Set default minutes that you want the chat entries cleared if there has been no no activity i.e(If current time - lastmodifed time> timeset current room entries will be cleared), Set default minutes that you want the to show users in guest list with no activity i.e(If current time - lastmodifed time> timeset and the new user notification is not set, that user will not be show in the list until they post a new entry in the chatroom. / Provides basic user functions like Help information at logon screen, Help information in chat room, Set maximum number of line entries to view, Set number of seconds chat room should check for new entries, Change rooms, Select a graphical face for your room name, Select a user to whisper to (only they can see what you say), Enter Active hyperlinks in chatrooms, (Enter link like "http://www.somesite.com/somepage or www.somesite.com/somepage"), The link will open in a new browser window outside the chatroom and View Chat entries in Ascending or Descending order. /
