PCLTool SDK - Option III Print Capturing / Converting PCL to PDF or PCL to PDF/A. Option III captures and converts COMPLEX PCL into raster/vector PDF or PDF/A formats, or raster XPS format while extracting text. PCLTool SDK - Option III Includes: PCLCodes, Img2PDF, Img2XPS, PCLXForm, ImgCvt, Filter, TNXDump and PCLTool and other valuable utilities. PCLTool SDK is the only product on the market that converts bitmap HP fonts into TrueType fonts to embed in the converted PDF's.


PCLTool SDK - Option III is ideal for those who need to capture and convert legacy PCL print streams into a PDF, PDF/A or XPS file formats. Unlike Option V, it does not allow for custom script programming to split or edit the PCL while transforming them into PDF, PDF/A or XPS formats. Option III can extract text from virtually any PCL file - even ones with "scrambled" text or rasterized text (with 1-2 hrs. of OCR process). PCLTool SDK - Option III evolved from one of our first PCL to PDF conversion programs. It's actually PCLXForm using a standard conversion script. If you later find the need to customize the transformation process, like add logos, barcodes or OMR marks - you can always upgrade to Option V or Option I - if you find the need to write your own custom .exe.
