The bug consists of improperly escaped HTML comments.
Unpack in your modules folder (usually '/sites/all/modules/')
Enable under Administer > Site Building > Modules
Edit the desired input format
Enable the htmlcorrector and the htmlcorrectorcorrector filters
Rearrange the filters so that HTML corrector corrector is below HTML corrector
HTMLcomment provides an input format filter that allows HTML comments, i.e. <!-- ... -->, and an additional filter that allows hidden comment, i.e. [!-- ... --].
