This is a workaround for those confusing apache mime-type file headers for mp3 files, where a standardized mime type has not yet been accepted. This allows you to configure the mime-type header that you would like to send to the users browser to play mp3 files from url links. This script is a quick fix and not a substitute for proper apache configuration. However, it is suitable to deal with other apache mime-type difficulties as well, by changing the mime-types in the script. |
