Project issue tracking 6.x-1.0-alpha4 Description
Description: This module provides issue tracking for projects created with the project module.
It allows users to submit issues (bug reports, feature requests, tasks, etc) and enables teams to track their progress. It provides e-mail notifications to members about updates to items. Similar to many issue tracking systems. You can see it in action at http://drupal.org/project/issues.
Please join the new release system group to find out about the future of this this module and the release system, and be sure to read the list of future work before submitting any new issues. Please read about How to help with the project* modules if you can spare any effort to support one of the key modules that powers drupal.org and all Drupal development.
Up until 2006-07-23, the project module provided both release management and issue tracking. For various reasons, these two areas of functionality are now implemented in separate modules. This module depends on and requires the project module, and currently will only work if the project module is installed. This limitation will hopefully be removed in the future, such that you could attach an issue queue to any node type.
The HEAD branch of this module has been ported to Drupal 6.x and is running on drupal.org. However, there are still some issues to work out before we create an official 6.x-1.0 release. Production sites are discouraged from upgrading until there's an official release. If you're going to try using the 6.x-1.x-dev version of Project issue tracking you must use the latest official release of Views 6.x-2 (not Views 3).
This module is maintained by Derek Wright (dww) and Chad Phillips (hunmonk) of 3281d Consulting. Anyone interested in paid support, customization, or sponsoring features should contact 3281d.com.
