This could also be easily modified to return n iterators, but was outside of my needs. Handy for splitting up the workload for use with multiple threads/processes.
Sather Iterators for Ruby based on the existing iterator methods. NOTE: Sather iterators were introduced in Ruby 1.9, making this obsolete.
Performs a merge join on any number of iterators with sorted, unique keys. I.e., iterate through the data in parallel, outputting successive keys and all corresponding values from each iterator, or None if not available.
Provides a mergeiter() function that can merge two iterators into a single iterator. Uses generators, and guarantees constant memory use.
This function allow to use a slice like protocol on iterators.
Sub band processing is based on splitting the frequency range into M segments (subbands),which together encompass the entire range. Each subband is processed independently, as called for by the specific application. The subbands are recombined...
Disable being able to re-use CCK fields (prevents splitting fields into separate tables when new fields are added to a content type). This is useful when custom modules have hard-coded SQL queries to CCK field tables where re-using a field would...
The 3 Python array packages are not able to create multidimensional arrays from iterators. This recipe allows you to do that.
A collection of small utility functions for iterators (all functions can also be used with normal sequences). Among other things, the module provides generator ("lazy") versions of the built-in sequence-manipulation functions. The...
