Very easy to use win32 download component with minimal impact on application size (13k) and progress event with cancel. You can give it any kind of url (ftp, http, https etc).Indy Independent. Using Indy would add 85k minimum and require both http and ftp manipulations and more to support other protocols. Indy does not support installable protocols which this component does. Minimum install of IE3 (for Windows 95 OSR1).Abstracted from API so in theory portable to Linux.
