Using this component, users are provided with number of enhanced features like progress bar which shows the progress of uploading, and allows selection of multiple files and it performs redirection of browser to another page, when the upload has been completed. It performs basic and NTLM authentication. It adds the recently modified date information with the files being uploaded. It also sets the limit on the file size, number and extension before the beginning of upload. It provides the stop method which allows the termination of the upload using program code. It offers improved RFC-1867 compliance, which allows the type and length of the files to be explicitly set and it also fixes bugs. |
